Finally, i finished watching the korean tv drama serial, Da Chang Jin. 70 chapters !! hee hee. all the sleep which i sacrificed and the previous study time was placed aside just to concentrate on the show. Well that's me. Once i started a task, i will try my best to complete it in the shortest possible time. I am not a big fan of korean drama though. Just that i liked the plot for this particular drama.

It's about this gal, Chang Jin. Her lifestory of how she become an orphan at the age of 6, how she learn the culinary skills in the palace, her curiousity which enabled her to seek and gain knowledge faster and wider than her peers, how she lost her beloved mentor in political conspiracy, how she become a successful physician later in her life. oh how can i forget her touching love story. guess in a way she is very lucky that she has this special one whom protected her and even willing to forgo his career in order to persuade the king to confer her as his personal doctor. In that ancient era, females are considered lower status than males. The female doctors working in the palace only attend to female patients and they are not allow to prescribe any remedies. I was so touched that the dying king actually secretly made arrangement to send her to her lover so that he can continue to take care of her and protect her from coming to harm by the members of the imperial court. Although chang jin and her family led a fugitive lifestyle, she still managed to continue her practice as a doctor. Very inspired by her !!!!

No wonder this drama is so famous in hong kong and other parts of asia.
