i was on medical leave at home today. The reason was due to food allergy. After dinner, i was having bout of dry coughs following that was non stopped sneezing till my eyes were red. Sensing that it could be allergy reaction, i simply thought i could just sleep the symptoms off. But i was terribly wrong. My nose was running like tap, there was just too high volume of secretions. i could only slept in sitting position. In the middle of the night, i really could not tolerate anymore, thus popped a cold tablet which has anti histamine effect. i felt much better after that except for my swollen eyes. Haha .. i really looked horrible..

This was the first time i experienced such allergic reactions even though i was allergic to seafood when i was young. Since i hit 20 years old , i could take seafood without any problems. So i am not very sure what has triggered such reactions. The best thing is my elder brother also have the same symptoms with asthmatic attacks but his condition was not as serious as mine. Come to think of that, there was this period of time , i really thought my childhood asthma has returned to haunt me again.

i am so freaking tired today. It was all due to the A1 shift this morning. The portables were swarming in like bees one after another. Pushing the machine around the entire hospital was really a very tough job. My legs were aching after my third round. This was something like doing morning rounds for the wards on normal week days. Then to make matter worse, everyone was taking their own sweet time on sunday, even a form was submitted late. Utterly pissed.

Looks like i have been out of action for a long time. Well, i was just busy working and working all day long. i am back to shift work for two weeks so i have a little more time to update on my life. Nothing much really to update about. Just the normal work and work related issues. There's so much unhappiness around the workplace lately. it sort of upset everyone.

At this moment, i am still trying to figure out what i want to do with my life. Still pondering over my goals and other stuff.

Sometimes i really wonder if my 8 character clashes with my cardiac reporting doctor. Everytime when i have a difficult client, it has to be on his day and he would ask me to analyse the ECG pattern for him. i know he is not in hospital to monitor the client but i am not trained to do the ECG analysis. i could only inform him that the ecg pattern was abnormal and the details of where is the PQRST,,,, i really dun have any confidence to provide more information. The interpretation of the pattern could be very complicated. Sorry that i have to make u that angry and frustrated. However, arrangements should have be made to provide better service and not with you all the way at other place when we need someone here to monitor the client.

Although this was not the first day, i got into such matter. i already tried my best to provide whatever information i could see on the screen. Just my luck.

For this, i am going to learn my ecg heart rate pattern so that next time i could provide slightly more information.

This week has been a weird week. We were always rushing to complete the day scan list before 6 pm and for the past four days, we still have so many scans to be done at 5 plus. Luckily, today was slightly better. We got to relax a bit.

yesterday was a bad day for those in ct. We had a couple of trauma cases and intensive wards patients. Every night after work, i just want to be in bed asap.
