Have you ever wondered what is happening to the world to our planet earth these days?

We human beings have to deal with global warming , depleting resources, declining economy and terrorism. How many issues can we address at one go? The situation around the entire globe is not doing very well due to the economy downturn. Everywhere in the world is not that peaceful anymore.

In the recent weeks, we have heard news about Thailand politics difficulties causing a halt in the air traffic. Tourists were struck in the airport, trying every ways and means to get home if possible. Then came attack in India. How many innocent lives have we lost in such activities? Is it worth the effort?

Maybe to those who plan all that, they have a message to put across to the world. Can't we have a more peaceful method and not shedding any blood from innocent people.

Just my wishful thinkings .... i guess

Since last week i have been sick. As suspected, i actually had viral flu. Wasted the two cycles of antibiotics i have taken.

What i need to do now, is to sleep and eat and sleep again according to the doctor's instructions. I am unfit to work and will spread the virus to patients. Sigh.... i want to work... i get very bored...

i was down with flu ,,,, it started with blocked nose on friday morning. However, i still went ahead with the chalet thingy despite of my parents' strong objection. i stayed throughout the weekend. Actually i felt better after the flu tablet that bell gave to me, just that after the BBQ , coz of the food probably i lost my voice.

Of course, my mum scolded me when i get home on sunday afternoon. Guess what , she was also down with flu and we went to the doctor this morning.

finally, found my pair of shoes to match my gown.

Feeling very sleepy now,... need to sleep again

Third day of my annual leave. Kinda enjoying myself sleeping and eating and surfing and piano and music.. for the time being.

i was out at orchard trying my luck to hunt for a pair of presentable shoes for the wedding banquet next week. In the end, i parked myself at a japanese restaurant to fill my stomach instead. After my stomach was filled, i dun feel like shopping anymore. That's me .... i really hated shopping unless there is something i need to purchase.

It has been a while since i went shopping at orchard. Everywhere was ready for christmas... my favourite season of the year. The dresses are pretty but too common .. nothing to my liking .. however the toys are rather interesting. They reminds me of my childhood. The toys are not that high tech at my time... Just thinking if i am going to buy a bear for myself this year since i have not been buying one for quite some time.

I have not collected my dress as mentioned on monday. It was not ready for fitting still on tuesday. SO have to go for fitting again tomorrow. Hope it will be just fine.

i am on leave for two weeks from today onwards. Although i will not be going anywhere during this two weeks break, dun think i will be bored as i could spend more time resting at home and running errands for my mum. My younger brother's wedding is just round the corner, there are many last minute preparations going on.

i will be getting my new dress for the dinner on Tuesday. i wonder how will the design looks like. It seems risky to have the dress tailor made within short notice. It's not that i dun have confidence in my designer. just that i dun have confidence in myself. Sigh... still keeping my fingers crossed for the end product. We shall see the result on Tuesday then. =P

nothing much to do lately except for work. No mood to work on the excel spreadsheet tonight. Guess i most probably will be catching up with my chinese pop song lyrics collection. Long time never update the lyrics.

i was out to buy dinner for the family in the evening and managed to pick up two cds from the music shop. Actually, there were a total of four cds i wanted to purchase, after consideration, i only bought two of them and left the remaining two for the following month budget. That was a big change in my buying habits. In the past, i would have snapped up all four cds at one go.

After watching Josh Groban's concert dvd, that left me wondering when will he held a concert in singapore. The turnout should be pretty good considering many singaporeans love to his albums. There are many fans of his among my friends. It will be gathering time of us to get together and enjoy the concert. The venue for his concert was so big and the sound systems to the arrangement to the entire crew were amazing. The atmosphere was so good,,,i wonder what will happen if the concert was held in singapore. At least, they will not have rude audience who are always rushing to go off out of the stadium at the end of the concert even before the artist retired to backstage.

Someone commented that i dunno what i want, that's why i ends up devoting too much time in my work. That set me thinking a bit,,,for a while... will continue if i managed to convince myself what i want...
