"Changing of one mindset"

How do we change our mindset on such rountines for example how we discharge our duties each day, from which cabinet we get our MODs from? i guess if we need to change our storage place, we need time to adapt to the changes. To keep the MODs in the overhead cabinets... well, it has always seem to be a less than ideal location. It's human nature that we would rather stood down to get stuff rather than to stretch our bodies a bit, it's more tiring and might even incur more wear and tear of the muscles or even ligaments. For short people like myself, it's pretty common to sprain my back when i stretched out to reach something above me. Despite of all the whoo and ahs ,,, eventually, we still need to relocate our MODs. Oh my..... guess we would soon accustomed to the changes in no time.... of course we would grumble here and there first before long we are going to just continue to do what was told and get used to the changes. Who loves changes right? But i rather to have reasonable changes and not just changed becoz someone said so,,, or just becoz someone dun like to see people sitting around. I just loved to sit on places he dun like to see people resting on. Too bad..... Still need to put oneself into others' shoes before u make changes,,, empathy is very important ...that's where u get your "people" factor from. i could change my mindset readily but i dun believe that changing the location will help us in anyway well maybe to utilise the available storage spaces.

We had past the third day of Lunar new year.

This year chinese new year was abnormally quiet. There's less gatherings for my parents as compared to last year. Many of the house visits also turned out to be more toned down than usual. Maybe my relatives have aged as well. Ha Ha.....

Tomorrow has to start work again. Sigh........

Still making plans for my milan trip. Hopefully i could settle the tickets by 10 March so that i could submit my roster request for April. Working on a very tight budget, i also not very sure if i could handle the finance or not after i came back from the trip. Should be alright if we just go and spent wisely and dun overspent...... hmmm

It's an hour before the end of Valentine's Day. Do you guys out there enjoy tonight with the special someone?

i received a new mp3 player from my younger bro and his gf. Ha ha .... Now charging it and will test it out later ,,,,,,,,, =P

i went to take my IC photo,,, but the effect dun turned out nice leh.... sigh think have to DIY,,,, take the digital image on my own ....... sianz ....

Today general was swamped with orthopedics patients. i was strucked for about 1 hour with my long spine film. Then that queue just went on and on till about noon, there are still 20 over patients waiting to be x rayed. Felt so bad that they waited so long,, but we tried to speed things up ,,,,, hee hee ,..guess i am still not as fast as the seniors... luckily i have students with me helping to do cases while i sort out other films issues. The downtime later in the afternoon ... was also another disaster coz doctors could not read the films... hopefully the teething issues will resolve asap.

Tomorrow i will be working the operating theatre. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go smoothly. Sigh....

Nope... This time round i did not vote for anyone unlike the last season. Save some money though... coz i was expecting Daren to win the competition...... Hee HEe not becoz he is cute hor... but he really can sing and is versatile when it comes to marketing the singer overseas. Diya has her personal best performance so far. Her "Sunny" personality shines throughout the performance. SHe is really sincere. Hope she will get a contract too coz she has a good voice too.

My attitude towards my counterparts these days are very bad. i could just raise my voice when i think that they did the wrong thing at that moment. Am i too stressed up that i cannot control my EQ? Perharps i am too particular on getting a good scan. i simply just want to get everything at the right timing. Cannot have any slight delay. This makes things pretty difficult for my colleagues if they dun think like me. Perharps i should just take it easy. I am too critical on some issues sometimes that i dun put myslef in other people's shoes. i just forgot all about them except for what i want to do. Just want everything perfectly scanned.

Today, we ended the day with 2 icus scans and 1 c spine. The 2 icus cases are multiple plus 3d recons. Oh my..... that's nothing much but to stay back to clear the recons. By the time i finished labeling the spines and one of the 3d recons, it was already 845pm. Completed the three scans at around 7 plus if i am not wrong. What a day!!!!
