i realised that i always knocked out on friday night after one week working in room 6. Had another 9pm to 930am sleep again.

Although i always lucky to have help from fellow colleagues when i was there, i still feel that i can be more decisive in terms of rejecting requests that are unreasonable. The patients were too ill to move or maintain in the position required for the requests. Another area of improvement to be made is to be able to determine what's best for the patients based on their conditions and pathologies. As i am still new, i need more experiences to be able to like the others who could justify why they refused to do what is ordered and decide when we should try our best to get what we want since it may be very critical for the doctors to treat the patients. These are difficult decisions as one wrong move may jeopardise the lives of the others. Sigh ......

i must make it a point to check my images properly. Just realised that i labelled the wrong markers for two cases yesterday. That's so unforgivable. i have checked the time for the two cases, both cases were completed towards the end of the day when i was already too tired physically as well as mentally. There were just so many images throughout the day that sometimes i dun even know what i was looking at. It usually takes quite a while to register that the chest images were processed as PA instead of AP. There are just so many factors which results in error. So the moral of the story is to always stay alert and check and check to ensure that everything is alright before releasing the films. Must really bear in mind that.

Today has been a frustrating day. Not a particular good day coz everything is disorganized starting with a new partner whom working style is different from me. It just messed up my entire workflow. Well, got help better than none i guess.

Managed to catch "Umblical Brothers in Speedmouse" last night. It was raining in the evening and we were so worried that we might not be able to make it in time since we underestimate the rain. We thought it would stop but no it did not so in the end we had to buy an umbrella and walked all the from Marina Square to Victoria Theatre. Luckily, we made it and surprisingly, there were also many "almost" late comers like us. Once the show started, the theatre was filled with laughters for the rest of the one and a half hours. The Australian Duos (David Collins and Shane Dundas) were really as good as what i heard about them. They are really entertaining and hilarous. Their every movements are well co ordinated with the music and timing are accurate to impress and activate the audience's laugh bugs. Really, there are even occassions where they got the audiences to participate in their ploys which i found it very engaging for the audiences. Among the audiences, many parents brought along their kids and most of the time u could heard the innoccent laughters by the kids. Although it was a short show, it helped to release the stress from one week of work and brightened the day for us. Ha ha ,, so till next time when they are here to perform.

it seems like these few days i was on a roller coaster ride. And these few days should be named the artefacts days. Coz since yesterday, i have been making the mistakes of not to remember to check for possible artefacts. It's either i saw but my brain waves never travel to certain part of my brain that register this information or i totally did not realised that there is an artifact. For example, this afternoon case, both student and me ran through a check before we took the x ray. In the end, artefact was there at the side of the abdomen. And my repeat was not good coz the patient could not stand the pain the cassette was giving him. As a result, i cannot center the patient to the centre of the cassette. So bo pian, have to pass both films. Sigh....

It's a very touching story. I am not sure if the simple storyline will appeal to most pple out there. But to those who loves dogs or own a pet, i think we understand what's going on emotionally to leave the "pals" behind. It also bring out the cruel truth that in the event of emergency, most people will just thought about saving the human beings first. What about the animals? What about the non human working partners?

i guess most will fight to get them out together rather than leaving them to surivive on their own. To the sled dogs, they have the survival instincts. And there was old Jack whom refused to break off the ledge with the others simply maybe for the reason to obey the master's instruction or has no wish to become the burden to the rest of the pack. In the end, he just died of hunger and coldness. The one that dropped off from the cliff, Max did not want to abandon him and he fell behind the pack. Dogs are very clever, i must say and they just go on even though when one was down and out. The youngest member of the pack actually helped the rest to get food from the died whale by luring the sealion away and saving the leader from it by launching attacks on the enemy. Well, the training Max has received has gone well. He then eventually took over the leader's role when she could no longer stand. Max took over the role of hunting birds and distributing the food among the pack. The scene featuring the handover of the leadership was very well illustrated. Very discipline and the rest just respect the new leader. Luckily, they were rescued in the end although they lost two members.

In between the scenes on their survival alone, the show highlighted the issues of not able to get support to help out the dogs , the emotional disposition of the owner of not able to get them out and trying to come to terms with the fact of losing them as well as feeling guilty that he had tied them up preventing them from breaking loose. Even though the dogs saved the life of the professor, it took him some time to consider and decide to help gary to save his dogs. Animals' life are as important as human beings you know coz we co exist in this earth.

i think this is the first time i shed so much tears watching a movie in cinema. By the time i was out of the theatre, my eyes were red and swollen. Am i being too emotional here? ha ha .... after watching the show, i was very confident that i will not keep a pet especially a dog after my fish pass on eventually. i still cannot handle losing the emotional attachment with the pet. It's the same as losing my loved ones. just too painful to bear.

Have met up with jy and gang today for lunch. We went to Bugis Junction and had our lunch at Ma Masion. When i went there, i realised that it was one of the restaurants which i always hover outside when i was there before but did not had a chance to try the food. i guess everyone was kinda of put off by the gloomy ambience at its entrance. However, this was a classic example of dun ever judge the book by its cover. ha ha ,,, the ambience was so different inside. Firstly, itgives a feeling as if u were having lunch in a typical western restaurant over at japan. Well, i have not been to japan but had an ideal through the japanese serials which i have watched so fast. And indeed, the restaurant served japanese styled western cusine. Most of the staff there were japanese and so are the customers. The curtains were partially drawn letting through some sunlight and over at each table, there was a small table lamp. The menu's cover was made of leather. It's cozy and not that noisy. Background music was jazz today. Just felt so good just sitting there catching up with old friends or loved ones.

As for the food, pretty decent. We opted to try the sphaghettis. The Ma Masion Sphaghettis was delicious but a bit salty. The japanese styled pasta i had , first impression was as if i was having katsu don but instead of rice i had pasta. it was as delicious and GL linked it with hokkien prawn noodles. The chef's pizza was the best. Oh not forgetting JY's ommelette like dish.... forgot the name. hee hee but was good. Just one minus point ,,,,, a bit too salty, we were busy quenching our thrist after that. Of course the most important thing.... the price was pretty reasonable. So for those who looking for good ambience dining place, can try this place.

After that, we went walk walk and landed ourselves in the National library looking at books in children section. ha ha ha ,, all because my dear teacher friend was looking for poems for her students. Had some fun time looking the colourful books and interesting poems. Never knew children's story books can be that interesting. i dun remember i read such books when i was young. ha ha

ok... i bought another pair of leather shoes again. This time, i bought stonefly shoes. As stated, made in Italy. i wasn't actually looking for shoes since i have already bought a few pair since i started working. But this pair was too comfortable to resist temptation. what a dinner!!! My stomach felt so full as if it was going to explode anytime. i was out of the house since morning helping my dad to man his office today 9just listening to phone calls and entertain enquiries. Mum joined me in the afternoon and we both "rot" bumming around doing nothing till dad came back from his projects outside office. i always wonder how my cousin was able to sit in the office like what i did for almost a year. It was so unproductive and if not for my crochet project and sudoku games, i dunno how i am going to survive. Dad will always buy me dinner after i helped him "look after" his office. So my parents and i went to the whampoa market to have fish steamboat (hee hee dunno the correct term of it). Nice nice lor ...=)

While i was watching the last episode of "Campus Superstar", the farewell speeches by everyone reminded me of how we always feel when it's time for us to say goodbyes to our beloved classmates before graduation or even at times when it's our last day at work. At every stage of our lives, we say goodbye to many people in our lives, of which some we still remained as friends and meet up regularly, where there are some people which just remained as part of our memories for that era and we never met one another after that. What remains in our heart were the sweet and bitter experiences we have been through together. Well, i am glad that when i looked back, most of the people i clicked with were still part of my social circles. Although for some, we only meet each other once in a blue moon, well at least we are still in contact and supporting one another in one way or other.

i guess the most memorable farewell besides my secondary times i had were with my TT colleagues. We have been through thick and thin together as a department and the chemistry we have developed during our times together was tremendous. Hardly able to find a bunch of us whom can play and work damn hard at the same time. Although sometimes we crapped a lot, that's the best part (dun u all think so). I still kept the farewell card which craved all the well wishes from everyone of u then ( and that super big pig head) when i left. Till now, i still felt very touched and shed tears when i read the messages. When i rejoined the work force, i realised i cannot find the same kind of chemistry anywhere else. At times, when i looked back, i dunno where i have gathered the courage to walk out of the comfort zone and take up another new challenge. That's one thing i am sure, i did not leave because of colleagues. For those who are still there, u may not felt the same as a few of us already left the company, but the PAT spirit continues to live on in our hearts just like the IJ spirit i cherished among my IJ friends.

watching last night final, also brought back memories of our assembly sessions in the school hall. Seeing the sea of blues in the tv monitor brings smile on my face. It's just different. The type of bonding we IJ gals have are so different from others. (",) shall talk about this some other time. hee hee

Congrats. Zhiyang for winning the Campus Superstar title. Expected him to win tonight coz he had put up a good performance. He was pretty impressive when he sung the song "superwoman". The techniques he employed for the execution of the song were amazing. However, to some extent, i agree with one of the judges that it tends to get too technical that it lacks sincerity. At some point especially the bridge portion, a bit messy but overall... he impressed me. When he sang the duet with sin huey , he showed another side of him. So cute ,,, ha ha .... Of course teresa has also performed well. But too bad, there is only one winner in every competition. Well Done Guys!!!!!!
