In the song, it illustrated the agonies of gals or guys when they questioned why their partners could not give them the answers to such questions while they could give answers to other stuffs. (to a certain extent).
Based on my interpretation of the lyrics, it is about someone's partner left for tour round the world, leaving the partner wondering what's the reason causing him to leave her behind. She was describing all his journeys that he enjoys and souvenirs he sent back to her but he just could not give her answers to why he love her, her expressions which he loves best of her, the most memorable moments of their lives together and the reason for leaving. She has demands answers from him. Well, the replies are vague and claiming that all the letters he sent are the reasons to part. So her conclusion is that the objective of going on tour is to leave her.
hee hee guess there is no answers to the "whys" in a relationship especially what we like to know most. ha ha ... wonder is it true that most people especially gals like ask such stuff?
