This is my busiest christmas eve so far coz we had our first christmas dinner as a family. Ha ha ,, all thanks to my elder bro's gf who wanted to celebrate christmas at home. We were out shopping at 11am this morning at Great World City cold storage. At first, we were not sure of what to cook for tonight except for pasta. We bought a tomato olive base sauce for stir frying of pasta and campbell chunky soup chicken mushroom for the other pasta. Fruits and celery for fruit salad. We also decided to buy the ready made Honey grazed ribs, black pepper chicken and durian swiss roll. i could not the temptation for the sausages on the shelf .. forgot the name liao.. but they taste good when i ate the sample on the tray. hmmm.... Then mum came over from work and joined us for lunch. We passed by the Ichiban Boshi restaurant ,,,, mum bought shashimi,,, that adds another 50 over bucks onto our bill.

Preparation of the food was pretty well organised.. with MF cooking the sauces and stuff while i help out in the cutting and washing of dishes ,,as well as prepared the fruit salad. i tried a new sauce,, kraft multi purpose whip and added in one tablespoon of honey to make it less sour (i cannot take sour stuff). Cut the apples (red and green),,, celery ,,, then mixed the sauces together.. realised that the dish looked too green... so decided to add in red pepper chilli... ha ha well the taste turned out pretty okie.. before served.. rasins were added. The new tomato olive based was good with the pasta... look like mee goreng,, ha ha .... added in button mushroom and sausages. hee hee .. pasta was added into the chunky mushroom soup as well. The sashimi was delicious. Surprisingly, the fruit salad was pretty popular.. now then i realised my family prefered fruit salad compared to all the other salads i have made previously... more receptive over fruits than pasta.. wonder why.

After that, comes the washing and clearing up. well tired but okie lah... hmm a bit hungry now.. must eat my auntie's cheese cake.. =p
