Today was the official IV plugs no good day. Most of the IV plugs were either not in working condition or there was none set for the procedures. So much time wasted on transfering the patient back and fro as well as pushing the patient in and out of the scanning room. i had one wrist pain cases which required three different scanning position. Now i really believed in positioning the patient correctly unless there's limitation or else must die die get the best positions. You know why, Coz it would make the later image processing job easier. i had lots of problem creating the mprs for both wrists especially that they are not symmetrical. Hopefully, i labelled everything correctly. It gets a bit confusing when the mprs images did not turn out as the same as my scanning images. Orientation problems which no one could help me to solve. sigh,,, Again keeping my fingers crossed.
i still could not handled icu cases on my own especially if it was a PE scan. Not so sure of the IV plugs. Damn stressed if working alone especially on call. There was no one you could turn to for help. Luckily, just now i have ZX. Nearly got another extravasation case, we were lucky that we stopped in time so no great damage done. However, had to waste precious time setting plug again. This was the frist time, we had to set 3 iv plugs in a row. Well, this was something avoidable especially when the veins were very fine. So stressed........ ha ha ... one thing i definitely have to work on first is the speed. I need to speed up so that i could finish cases fast. Still very slow.. sigh....
