Yesterday was my first time visiting Batam. It was a day tour orgranised by the Rec Club. As usual, we were separated out to our usual cliques. The best thing was that the tour leader could not converse in english and our poor tagalog speaking colleagues had "wonderful" time trying to figure out what she was talking about. The others tried to do the translation but she just rattered off so fast and normally her few sentences were being summarized to about one sentence. It was really short and sweet. But think they had enjoyed themselves with the massages and all. As usual, i brought along my camera but i ended up only a few pictures. i just liked to take pictures of the scenaries but not people. sigh......
i had experienced slight motion sickness on the way there. But on the return trip, we went to the deck. Nearly got thrown overboard ha ha , coz the sea was rather rough. But it was better than staying down sitting down. At least the strong breeze worked wonders to my mind. sort of like did some thinking a bit when i was up there.
the next thing to worry about is our annual party. Being part of the recreational club, there is just so much to be done and sad to say, i dun have much time trying to make some contribution to the club. i was never there when they planned for the next makan session. However, i tried my best to participate in most of the activities and to assist in one way or another on the day of activities. i did whatever i could although i could give more. =)
After chinese new year, i will book appointment to check out my spine. The curvature has worsened over the years though.
