today is just a very bad bad day for me. Early in the morning, my sixth sense already warned me about the coming "disaster". Just that, the first half of the day was so smooth sailing that i forgot about the ill omen i had earlier. Darn!!! Right after my lunch, i managed to perform a head scan for one patient. Followed by my next patient, my scanner stood me up. The gantry dun responds at all. WE tried restarting the system. It did not worked so we tried full shut down and that failed as well. So gave up and called for help. But all my patients came. of course, they were not happy with it but there's nothing i could do coz not that i spoilt the scanner. If i could predict that it will breakdown in the afternoon, i would have stopped all of them from coming. Add to my woes, the transferring of patients to the main building was done in a very unorganized manner. Firstly, i was a bit feverish to think right. Secondly, i was not very sure how many patients were there. Before i tried to gather the patients together, one interupted and explanation provided. Then missed out the rest. I was so angry with myself with the way i handle the situation. Barely any time to stop and ponder to come up with a proper plan. At least i learnt from my mistakes so that next time i know what to look out for.
Over at main building, things were not looking good too. So many patients there too,, every patient ask me how long they have to wait,, and all,, those that i handled i managed to settle them well..but those that i did not handle .. i heard someone lodged a complaint asking for refund. We were not even performing the scan over at 4 slices.. it's a new scanner and same image quality as upstairs,, i really dunno what's the issue... the issue i thought of is the prolonged waiting time ... maybe not briefed before sending the patient down.
back home having funny stomach,,, like gastric pain and seems like gastric flu. dun think i will ever recover from this bout of flu lor. Even someone i had not met for long noticed that i had slimed down a lot.
