Yesterday's concert was the best i attended so far in singapore indoor stadium. I was wondering if they changed the sound system in the house or they really had improved technically or the performer was really superb. Initially for the first song, one could detect the usual fault of the sound system in the indoor system. But after a few songs, everything seems faultless. I guess it depends on the singer as well. How she handle the microphone really matter. She is really the diva in the chinese pop songs industry. She is one of the best evergreen singers in town. I just loved her stage presences. Yes , i admit that she do have a young heart. At the age of 55, she has a young mentality that enables her to stay young at heart. My idol ,,,, in life.. hee hee . My parents enjoyed themselves throughout the show.
However, i was very ashamed of singaporeans' behaviour at concert. Oh, this is the first time i made a mistake and forgot ... sigh ,my handphone rang in the middle of the concert. Sigh,,,my first blunder... i did select slient mode . but did not activate that..ha ha i am very very sorry ... What i was disgusted ...was how the display of singaporeans' ugly behaviour. For the encore portion, there were people standing up to rush off when the rest of the mankind were concentrating of getting the diva to get back on stage again. And there was no clapping of hands for the portion when she was introducing the band members. Please, this is basic courtesy. Without the musicians and backcrew, the concert would not be a success. And the worse part was at the finale portion. The singer and the dancers were still up on stage, most of the viewers were already up on their feet making their way to the entrance. Oh my god... and the best part was even those sitting right in front of the stage ,,, those most expensive ticket holders were leaving when they were thanking the viewers on stage. Disrespectful... if i was the one on stage,,, i would not even want to perform here again. no sense of satisfaction ... how could this be happening... Such things dun happen in esplanade,,, i seldom seen such behavior for classical concerts. utterly disappointed....... How can singapore become a graceful society if we do not even have the basic courtesy.
