i have just completed the 2 seasons of japanese medical dramas. Yes, i stayed at home during my annual leave to watch old drama serials. One of my favourite medical dramas so far. Why ? Coz i need to search for something to revive my passion to continue on working in the medical industry. i would like to say that it has been an eye opener working in the industry for the past two years. The faces of patients whom we have encountered, the working experiences with my fellow medical counterparts etc etc... every patient has their own unique story.....
Sad to say, my passion has gradually diminished since i first started. Desperately hunting for the something to revive my motivation. Hence, i resort to watching medical dramas to remind me of my ambition, remind me of my ultimate aim when i decided to take up diagnostic imaging as my career. i dun see the kind of passion in doctors as well. What i encountered are irritating species who think too highly of themselves. There's no co operation between departments and sessions. How can the medical industry survive without the existence of proper communication skills and teamwork. This is the saddest thing that will ever happen.
Luckily, singapore dun have any natural disaster such as earthquake. if not, i dunno how the medical staffs are going to cope with the tremendous stress. How united we are going to be in terms of emergency alert? i really cannot conclude. At the rate we are going, sometimes i really dunno if i can entrust my life to the doctors. How competent are they?
this is rather sad to have such feelings.
