It's workflow again. Everything we do we have to fall back on workflow. We have to look into why this workflow is not efficient, what could be improved and all. However, if the workflow is already very efficient, which is seldom the case.. where should the problem lies. Human factor.. how fast we could scan or what is the minimum time to perform a scan? That varies as well coz every cases are unique. Some could be completed in shorter time than the others.
i always felt that when it is time to review the workflow, it is something like "pointing fingers" session. it always end up with this section complaining that that section is delaying this or that. But no one really listen or pick up the actual situation. At the end, the losing section will have to make changes and bear with the injustice orders from the top people. Is that really efficient? No, the problem is still there and is not solved. At the end of the cycle, we would be back to square one again. We will be sitting in the meeting room and discussing the same old issue again and again. What's there to move on and what's there to improve when the data was not analysed in the correct way.
Well, there's this element called miracle. Sometimes they must be hoping that to stretch us even further, we could do the impossible and succeed in attaining whatever high goals theyhave set. This is not the correct way to do things but a common practice here. Coz they believe in forcing one to the maximum, that's the time they could attain results. However, they failed to realise that when the utmost potential of the person is brought out, that's also the time when the energy force within the person starts to decline. Performance will not be at the expected level anymore. Human beings need to rest and revitalized. We are not robots....
