This brought back memories of the most feared SARS. Although this time round, we are dealing with flu viruses, that does not command us to let our guards wond We are just trying all preventive measures we could to reduce the impact. As usual, individuals have their own personal views on this matter. But we are dealing with viruses. They mutate at fairly high speed, they are very clever to hide from the immune system, they are also highly adaptable, high survival rate. All these factors should make us tighten our securities. We cannot just take the word that they could only thrive in western regions not in tropical areas. As usual, i dun believe that all the facts are accurate at the moment. Anything could make a turn of the situation along the way. Maybe i am just being paranoid here, some people may even find me being too uptight over this. i am just trying to protect my loved ones and my dear friends.
Sorry that i have to excuse myself from all the gatherings but i have my social responsibilities to fulfil. Hope u guys understand that if not ,,, it's also not within my means.
To my fellow colleagues, guess we have to keep one another motivated to brace the upcoming "storm" and kept praying that the worst will not hit us. WE are all very tired , i am sure we have our own fears and concerns, guess we just have to depend on each other, to give each other a pat on our shoulders , to help one another to tide through the uncertainities ahead of us. We are not alone ... hee hee sound lame ha ha ...
